Platform for Defence Startups to Connect with Armed Forces & Investors
Defence Innovation Summit 2026 is a national forum focused on strengthening India’s defence and strategic technology ecosystem. Organized by FITT, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi in partnership with Association of Small & Medium Knowledge Industries (ASMKI), the summit brings together senior representatives from the Armed Forces, Ministry of Defence, DRDO, GeM, TDF, export authorities, industry leaders, defence-focused investors, and defence startups for structured dialogue.

Purpose & Impact
The summit addresses the growing need for indigenous defence innovation aligned with India’s Atmanirbhar Bharat mission. FITT IIT Delhi has been at the forefront of defence-tech innovation, supporting startups that have won prestigious iDEX and ADITI challenges.

Hosted Defence Tech Startups Demo Day with 14 handpicked startups
Collaboration with SIDBI, iDEX, and defence investors for ecosystem strengthening
Additional Information
Technology-based product/service in defence, aerospace, cyber-security, AI, autonomous systems, or strategic tech
Working prototype or MVP preferred for product showcase
Curated pitching: Only 7 high-impact startups will be selected for VC pitching session
Indian registered entities (startups, MSMEs, innovators) eligible to attend and showcase
Prior defence experience or iDEX/ADITI participation may be advantageous
Note: General attendance open to all defence startups and ecosystem participants; pitching slots are curated and limited
