iAccelerate 4.0 – Tamil Nadu Hardware Accelerator for Prototype, Product Startups From design to mass manufacturing for Tamil Nadu hardware innovators – Tamil Nadu Technology Hub (iTNT Hub)iAccelerate 4.0 – Tamil Nadu Hardware Accelerator for Prototype & Product Startups is a specialised 12-week structured hybrid accelerator designed to help hardware founders move from concept and prototype to manufacturing‑ready products. The program is implemented by Tamil Nadu Technology Hub (iTNT Hub), a government-backed deeptech innovation network based in Chennai. It combines intensive cohort-based learning with hands-on design, prototyping and manufacturing support tailored specifically to hardware startups registered in Tamil Nadu.

The accelerator offers government-subsidised access to a professional design, prototyping and manufacturing ecosystem through design vouchers that can be redeemed with empanelled design and manufacturing partners. Startups are supported across two tracks: a Design Track offering vouchers up to ₹7.5 lakh to move from proof-of-concept to design validation, and a Scale Track offering vouchers up to ₹15 lakh to refine designs and prepare for mass production. Alongside this in‑kind financial support, the cohort receives structured mentorship, strategy refinement, and go‑to‑market preparation.

A key objective of the program is to reduce product development risk for hardware ventures by enabling access to expert design validation, rapid prototyping and reliable manufacturing partners within Tamil Nadu’s strong industrial base. Startups gain connections to MSME manufacturers and industry partners, as well as exposure to iTNT Hub’s broader deeptech ecosystem and government-backed innovation network. The 12‑week curriculum focuses on transforming hardware ideas and early prototypes into commercially viable, production‑ready products with clear manufacturing and market entry plans.

By the end of the accelerator, selected startups are expected to have de‑risked their hardware design, validated manufacturability, and built a pathway toward scaled production and market launch, without giving up equity, as the support is primarily in the form of design vouchers and ecosystem access.
